We've been going here for the past 6 years and I can say that they are definitely coming back to their exclusive high end feel for the CinéBistro with some of the theaters getting updated seats. The service is always superb, however they no longer make the delicious meals they used to serve. Now the menu is more so concession stand snacks rather than a meal. One thing my mommy friend noted is that the bars for safety... View all feedback.
What Ashley Tieman doesn't like about Cmx Cinébistro Liberty:
This theatre is NOT a Cinebistro. They no longer have Cinebistro services. You order your food at the counter prior to entering the theatre. For an extra $3 they will deliver it to you, or you may wait for it. The food is okay and extremely over priced. (Don't order the fries. They're cold, gross, and clearly sat there a while. This theater is not a Cinebistro anymore. They've discontinued Cinebistro services. You now have to order your food at the counter before entering the theater. For an extra $3, they can deliver it to your seat, or you can choose to wait for it yourself. The food is just okay, and it's extremely overpriced. (I wouldn’t recommend the fries; they were cold, unappetizing, and clearly had been sitting out for a while.) Once inside the theater, it was dirty and sticky. The chair had crumbs and a damp spot, so I had to clean it before sitting down. There was also trash stuffed between the seat cushions. Honestly, it was just unpleasant. With tickets costing $35 and a mediocre meal priced at $60, we won’t be returning.
This theatre is a disappointment and I would never recommend buying tickets here. Echoing all the recent reviews, you should avoid this location, and CMX as a whole. Cinebistro is a lie. This building stands as a sad, low quality offering in an otherwise very nice Liberty Center.I went here after years of not going to theaters, hoping for an enjoyable experience. Sat in the theatre only to realize there was no dining service anymore after hearing others mention it. Spoke with management and learned that service was cut because customers aren 't tipping enough .If you wanted the bistro food you had to talk to a random employee standing in the back corner of the concessions that you order from. Then, if you want them to bring it to your seat, it 's an extra $3, otherwise you stand and wait. We opted for a popcorn combo at this bistro because the prices, lines, and service were so expensive for such abysmal quality. There 's no one checking tickets or verifying who 's coming or going, so random hecklers entered our theatre (watching Barbie) and shouted slurs and profanities about women mid-movie.Sticky, cracked pleather chairs and tables made sitting in the theatre even worse through a 2 hour movie. This was truly the worst movie experience and I am never coming back to a CMX theatre again.
Not the same as it used to be. Disappointed in how things are the past couple years. Disgusting seating, looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks. Crumbs and food all over the seats, in the cracks and caked in the cup holders. Also the seats that recline don't even work. They are stuck in the recline position and the buttons don't work. Didn't even take tickets so it seems like anyone could walk in and they didn't seem to care. Used to be a favorite place of ours.
Went with my family tonight to see Barbie. I was super excited since I haven’t been to a movie theater in a long time. First off my chair was broken and it wouldn’t even go down. There was something in my mom’s drink holder that stunk. The floor by where you get your tickets looked like it hadn’t been moped in over a month. No one was checking tickets so there were people sitting on the floor during the movie that had snuck in. There were flies flying around during the movie. The bathrooms were gross. I Immediately had to shower when I got home. If you want to enjoy your movie go to another theater.
As a new resident of Southern Ohio, this theater is among one of my favorite places to go to enjoy a movie as well as food. There's lots of entertainment in the area as well as shopping and dining options. The theater itself has a bar as well as many other food options besidesthe standard theater fare. The seating is so very comfortable and the screen is sharp with awesome sound.
