Pizza Snob Impressed. Far better than any pizza I ever had in either NJ or NY and we just came back from a 14 year sentence of living there. The crust is fantastic; hand-tossed and perfectly crisp. The toppings are quite high quality, if a hair on the skimpy side, but I'm going to say that this might just be the best pizza I ever had outside of Chicago. Very friendly and attentive staff, nice selection of beers. Nice... View all feedback.
What Hope E doesn't like about The Original Brooklyn Pizza:
Consistency has really declined in recent years. Frequently order the calzone: sometimes it's sublime but missing the marinara sauce on the side; other times it's like they're just throwing raw, unseasoned ingredients together and calling it a day (but remembering to include the marinara sauce on the side). Or, if you order a Zorba the Greek, they'll leave off an integral ingredient: the kalamata olives. It's a shame... View all feedback.
My 1st time with this pizza, We had a little of each and none of there were disappointing. They have a second store 3rd coming in December closer to Hamburg, That will be nice. The fig pizza was great. If you love a New York style pizza, You will love this place.
I have eat here several times and take out too. They dongreat job. I really love this New York style pizza. If you eat in they have happy hour 3-7 and all day Thursday with beer specials and half price appetizers-not the wings. We had the small garlic knots and we spit a small Suerfecta:2 meat and 2cheese. Many other items on the menu, pasta, wings calzones but I always go for the pizza.
Great Pizza! We ordered 2 meats and 2 vegetables on our pizza! We will definitely be coming back here! The pizza was a thin crust with good distribution of toppings. They had lunch specials posted on the board which seemed like a good deal with two items and a drink for $8. We ordered a medium pizza which was more than large enough to feed 3 adults. The sauce on the pizza was delicious and we really enjoyed eating here. There was a bar area with televisions and some guys were watching a baseball game. The place was not very busy but there were about 10 or so customers. They have carry out and you could order to go but they do not deliver. With drinks our total was $20.12.
We took our large family here for dinner and everyone loved it! Friendly service, fun menu selection, great pizza. The teens were thrilled with the appetizers but my favorite was the stromboli! We returned a week or so later for a Sunday date, sans kids, and had a nice time. I enjoyed the mozzarella sticks a lot, my husband really likes all the topping selections.

It's a shame; I really want to give this place 5 stars, because their food is good, excellent when they're actually trying; however, on the weekends especially, it seems like they're satisfied with just throwing everything together as quickly as possible. The pic attached is of a spinach calzone with just raw spinach in under baked dough very little cheese. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!
