Need to change your time for weekend.. I work nights so waited around until you all opened at 7 like Google says to be told its 8am.. love everything but that's a lil inconvenience since you close at 12.. View all feedback.
What Tina Tsambas doesn't like about The Futile Bakery:
Their cinnamon rolls are touted as the best but they were terribly mediocre: with neither the heft of a classic biscuit dough or the lightness of a laminated croissant. They were merely meh. The icing was pure sugar, with no discernable cream cheese. If you must go, get the coffee cake which, while overly salty is, at least, interesting. View all feedback.

Come for the cinnamon rolls, leave with an assortment of delicious scones, bars and cookies. Absolute best cinnamon roll bakers in
I have been wanting to get by this spot after seeing so many great pics of the baked goods. I'm a sucker for a great scone and managed to get two to sample on our visit Friday. Love the blueberry lemon scone! The Cranberry Orange was very tasty too!
So disappointed! I really wanted to support this new, local bakery! I ordered 2 boxes of Christmas cookies to give as gifts. When I stopped by to pick them up around 1pm, the door was locked. I could see someone inside baking, so I knocked mentioned that I was here for a pickup. They just looked at me through the glass said we’re closed. The sign on the door said they closed at noon. No one mentioned this when I placed the order I know bakeries usually close early, but noon seems extreme especially during the holidays! So, I went back the next morning to get my two $27 boxesof cookies. No one greeted me upon entering. 5 people were milling about the front one lady was on the phone. When I was finally recognized, I asked for my cookie boxes, only to be told that they didn’t have them. I guess they gave them to someone else. And they told me they could bake some more for me to pickup tomorrow!! What!? No one apologized or offered anything as a substitution. Nothing. Just we don’t have your cookies, but we can make some more. No one mentioned when I placed the order or ever called, texted or emailed me to say if you don’t pick up your order between 7a noon, we will sell your cookies to someone else. We are leaving town today for Xmas, which is why I wanted the cookies to bring with me, so I had to go elsewhere. Martine’s Pastries didn’t disappoint they had an abundant selection of cookies, gingerbread houses cookies, fruit cakes, pies and lots of delicious flavors, for a lot less than the $54 I was going to pay here.
AMAZING!! They did our wedding cookie cake and it was beautiful and delicious. They made a small, tiered cookie cake for us and a bunch of cookie sandwich cakes for our guests. Daniel was a pleasure to work with too. Highly recommend!
