My family had a 3 night family reunion here in July 2023. The pool, fire pit, playground and lodge restaurant are all next to each other and close to the lodge rooms. You can rent a kayak on the lake and hike all without moving your car. The lodge is old, but for the price and amenities it's a really great deal. We loved it! I will be back again. Excellent service yet our sweet and efficient young waitress could not overcome the quality of food served tonight. Fried catfish was came out extremely hot temperature use but was undercooked. Very fishy with an ammonia-like taste, it was simply horrible.
