Contribute Feedback What Wayne Hinkle likes about Ramsey's Diner Tates Creek:
Had one of the largest pieces of catfish ever. It was exceedingly good. Crisp fries and excellent cole slaw. Apple fritters weren't quite up to snuff. My wife and brother-in-law were thrilled to have beets on the menu. Place was crowded and service alittle slow, which in these days of short staffing can be expected. Staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, an excellentexperience. View all feedback.

We have never been to Ramsay?s or Kentucky until yesterday. My husband and I first met Jason the manager who was super nice and had actually lived In MD before where we are from). He went out of his way to help us and gave a really sweet waitress namedLizzy. I learned I really like vinegar and jalapeño water haha and they have an awesome peanut butter pie. Thank you for thepie ! So glad we stopped there for some good food and great service.
Visiting from North Carolina and decided to walk to a random bar, came upon Ramsey?s. The food (buffalo chicken salad with house made blue cheese dressing) was incredible, Kentucky mule was fantastic, and the staff was very helpful. Perhaps the best chickenI have ever had. May have to go for dinner as well. Only suggestion is adding Wi-Fi as the service isn?t great in that area.
This place is great. I didn?t get to try the pies but apparently they are great!! I would highly recommend this location to any looking for southern food.
Disclaimer: Normally I LOVE Ramsey's food and I think maybe it was just a bad day for them. Pros: *Their Butterscotch pie was delicious! *They were not crowded at all at 4pm on a Saturday. Cons: *This location is in a strip mall and has very littleambiance. *It was FREEZING cold in the restaurant. Bring a blanket for your legs and a jacket. I'm not kidding. It'sspectacularly hard to enjoy anything when you are that uncomfortable. *Chairs were hard and uncomfortable. *The food just wasn'tup to their usual standards. *The blackened catfish was overly spiced and was kind of a mush consistency and went cold veryquickly given the temperature in the room. *The green bean flavor was just not there and they were full of strings. *The friedtomatoes also had little to no flavor, were extra greasy and we're sliced so thin it was basically breading. *Hush puppies weredoughy *Cornbread was ok, but cold and didn't come with butter. *Like everywhere I believe they were probably understaffed soyou constantly had to find someone and ask for napkins, refills, etc. With long wait to order. (The server was extremelynice) Again, I feel bad writing this as normally I do love their menu and food.
