My wife and I were worried about the food here because most seafood is fried. But we came anyway and were immediately impressed by the cleanliness and cloth napkins. We ordered both grilled salmon and are glad we did. Perfectly cooked and delicious. And a huge part! The waiter was attentive and efficient. The music was a little loud for us. The price was very reasonable. We highly recommend this facility. View all feedback.

disappointment about everything I could have expected. Reading the reviews of this place had prepared me for a good meal, but what I received warns what was described on the menu. I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken with green beans and potatoes. The garlic potatoes were simple and unseasonal. The green beans in southern style are the same. Unburdened and straight out of the can. The most surprising part is the wate... View all feedback.
The restaurant is currently closed and will soon reopen under a different name, according to the sign outside the building. I'm unsure what type of cuisine they will offer, but I hope it finds more success than the previous seafood restaurant. I live just a few doors down, and the times I craved seafood, it was just average; the breading was quite dry, although the restaurant itself was very clean. I'll be sure to support the new establishment if it's an improvement over heading downtown for a meal. Best of luck to the new owner! Please update your signage to create more excitement among local residents.
I had higher expectations considering the connection to Blue Marlin. It's a straightforward seafood restaurant that focuses heavily on fried fish. The prices are reasonable for what you get, but the food didn’t really impress me. If you’re in the mood for seafood and want something more appealing than Captain D's without going to a fancy restaurant, this is a decent choice. The interior has the vibe of a BBQ joint or a typical family restaurant, and the service is nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, it’s just average. J.Ja
I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. Everything we ordered seemed to need a bit more time in the fryer, and overall the flavors were quite bland. The potatoes appeared unwashed and were undercooked. As for the hushpuppies, they were overly sweet and had what my husband described as a fortune cookie taste. I’m giving it 3 stars because the service was excellent and the shrimp and grits were enjoyable. However, we likely won't return. Price per person: $20–30. Food: 2, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.
However, the mashed potatoes were rather stiff and not served hot enough. On the other hand, the fried flounder and shrimp were quite tasty. We did experience delays in receiving our food and getting our drinks refilled, and unfortunately, I didn't receive the tartar or cocktail sauce with my meal. The ambiance was enjoyable, and the parking situation was convenient. Next time, I think I’ll try the cheeseburger, along with green beans and a salad. Kid-Friendliness: The kids' menu offered a typical selection. Parking: Good location with plenty of parking available. Service: Dine-in Meal Type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
