The pizza is amazing, but what really made this was the service. We ordered a large pizza and a calzone. The calzone was delicious. When the pizza came out there was a small rip when coming out of the oven which the owner would not accept. She gave us that pizza for free and made us a new one to go even though I told her it wasn't necessary! She insisted! Unexpected amazing service. View all feedback.
What Leo Whigham doesn't like about Nicky's Pizzeria:
Worst pizza I ever had. Amount of sauce and cheese was so slight I thought maybe they had forget to put iron the pizza. Amount is mushrooms was niceBaked spaghetti had so much sugar!!!!Never had sauce so sweet. Could not eatHave been to NY several times a yr for 30 yrs. Never had a “NY” pizza like this. Really badPrices seem a little high and careful of 4% credit card chargeMy recommendation. Select another spot! View all feedback.
One of the best pizzas you'll find. Everyone is nice and owners are fun to talk to. Ryan is a great server. We come there 2-3 times a month. Keep up the awsome place.
My wife and I stopped in just before closing, and Vica said no worries have a seat and we will take your order. Delicious pizza ny style (We ordered large pizza with pepperoni and half mushroom) and the entire staff was very nice. We will be back to enjoy more of the menu and relax with a beer.
The food here is wonderful. The people are even better. I walked in a few weeks ago to see the manager working along with his team to fix the computer system. What stood out to me the most was that even though they couldn’t take orders, the manager still told his team to punch in, because he was going to pay them for their time, no matter what. And they called back a few hours later after the system had been fixed to see if they could take our order. These are good, salt of the earth people, and I hope their business continues on for many generations.
Hands down the best pizza in SC!! After living outside NYC our whole lives this is the real deal. The true test you pick up the slice and it doesn't flop over! Crust is crunchy and delicious the way it should be. We also had the fried ravioli, garlic knots and chicken roll which were all delicious as well. Took extra for home and will definitely be back with our kids again who had a special treat of ice cream and cannoli!!! Owners were extremely nice and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed!
