Kfc - Lexington
Kfc
Description
Part fast-food shrine, part uneven experience, this KFC blends lightning-fast drive-thru service and artful, nostalgic decor with erratic food quality and managerial tensions. Customers report anything from impeccably fresh orders and recent improvements to dry chicken, cold fries and rushed service driven by staff pressure. Noted upgrades suggest better consistency lately, making it a convenient, budget-friendly stop for visitors in Tennessee — but expect mixed quality and a hurried atmosphere.

The food was exceptional, thanks to the staff's dedication to preparing fresh meals at an incredible speed. The service was outstanding— the longest I waited in a five-car drive-thru was just two minutes. The atmosphere, enhanced by the artwork, was also impressive. Although giving such a high rating to a fast food restaurant might seem unusual, I assure you that KFC serves the best fried chicken you'll ever taste.
The chicken was tough and dry, as if it had been left out for some time—I almost choked on it. The tea was the only thing that tasted good. The biscuit was also hard and dry, and the fries were cold, soggy, and chewy. I might give it one more shot in case they were just having an off day, but that will be my final try.
I dined here with my dad, and the food was excellent for a KFC. It was definitely a nostalgic experience, especially since KFCs are not as common these days. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
For a year, the food was consistently disappointing. I often didn't receive the chicken I ordered, and when the food finally arrived, it was usually of poor quality. However, over the last month, there has been a significant improvement in the food. If there's a new manager, I hope you keep them around! Finally, I'm enjoying good food and service!
The absence of strong leadership in the restaurant really creates an uncomfortable atmosphere, especially when the manager is yelling at the staff. It seems like she is more focused on how long people linger at their tables than on the quality of service and food provided. The insistence on rushing customers along was quite bothersome. As for the food, it's decent, but not as good as it used to be. This establishment either needs new management or more oversight from higher-ups.
