Really good food. Our drinks were goof, seafood pasta and spaghetti was very good. Nice portion sizes. Waiter was good as well. We has a coupon to get one free meal. Really great. View all feedback.
What Daniel Orzelek doesn't like about Johnny Carino's:
$14 for six little hot wings that didn?t even come with celery, carrots or sauce? And as my buddy and I looked at the rest of the menu the prices are outrageous. The food wasn?t even that great. No caprese or anti pasta salads. I just don?t get it.Surely won?t be back.
Not bad. Nothing to write home about. Food recipes could be better. It was my birthday weekend off, we didn't want to cook, and we had a coupons. (Beware the fine print). We went a second time Sunday to be sure. I had the ribs for my second meal, but like I said, I've had much better.
My experience here was odd. I walked in and was told there was a 10 minute wait. I look around... There was an event in the side room that already had their food and maybe a dozen people in the restaurant other than the event, the place looked fairly empty.I assumed they were understaffed so i took seat. Then i notice at least 6-7 servers standing around the kitchen chatting it up.So they appeared well staffed. I was seated after about 10 minutes. My server approached me about 5 minutes later, I 'll beright with you! It appeared she had 4 tables plus me. 20 minutes in I finally get a drink with a virtually empty restaurant. She was incredibly sweet and attentive, but it seemed like she was overly busy compared to the rest of the staff. She was greatand checked on me regularly. It seemed like the rest of the staff hung around the kitchen goofing off, singing along to thekitchen radio. In fact, the kitchen radio was as loud as the music in the dining room. So it was very annoying listening hearingtwo opposing radios all night. It also was unsightly looking at dirty tables that were not bussed. Two tables in particular wereempty when i came in and unbussed. No one cleaned them and they were still unbussed when i left. Given the number of staff isaw, the restaurant should have not had so many unbussed tables. Also, for a restaurant like this I 'd expect a manager walkingaround asking how everything was. I never saw anyone who I could have identified as a manager. Just looked like a bunch of kidsand kitchen staff with no one steering the ship. The food it seemed like it came out in a timely manner. Food was very good, imean really really good. My cocktail was top notch and SUPER strong. If i were to rate this experience based on food alone I 'dgive it 5 stars, but the experience matters.

Imagine the surprise when we go to have a wonderful dinner and realize the price had a 100% increase. Bow tie festival and skilletini which used to be around $10 and $12 is now $18.99 and $19.99. Meal for two with no dessert and a sweet tea and cokewas $50. Imagine if we had a family of two or three kids. There was no wait. Why would there be? You can?t expect families togo to a chain restaurant and pay $50 to $200 per meal. We won?t be back simply because it?s not worth the price. Not going topay $25 dollars per person to receive a dish that is basic.
