J. Alexander's - Lexington

I've visited this restaurant three times, and I’ve been impressed each time. The food is fantastic and more affordable compared to other steakhouses in the city. The waitstaff is knowledgeable, friendly, and occasionally humorous. Last Friday, I had Gabriel as my server, and he was excellent. My wife ordered the steak kabobs while I chose the steak along with the fries (I substituted smashed potatoes). The potatoes are amazing! I definitely recommend this place and will be returning. If they have the pumpkin cheesecake available, be sure to try it—it's delicious!

We booked a reservation through Google, and I’m so glad we did! The service was excellent. Our waitress, Gabriel, was quick and attentive. We ordered the Maui steak, filet mignon, and Thai Kai salad, and for dessert, we tried the dobash chocolate cake with ice cream. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared!

Alexis and Nick were incredibly friendly and welcoming! They offered great suggestions for the Bourbon Trail and highlighted beautiful sights in the area. Since we didn't have a reservation, we were fortunate to get a table. It felt like being part of a small community that embraced us in Lexington. The food was fantastic, but it was our conversation with Nick and Alexis that truly made this an unforgettable dining experience!

My man brought me here to the jubilee. very nice! the staff was friendly eating was delicious.

Food and drinks were absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I came here for a quick date night, but we ended up staying for hours. Our server Gabriel, was thee best server we have ever had at any restaurant. Top notch service! He knew exactly what we wanted and when we wanted it! His suggestions were superb, and completely added to the experience. Will definitely be coming back here again!
