Corto Lima - Lexington

In the late afternoon in Lexington in the middle of the bad winter weather. I'm glad they stayed open. There were two appetizers and two entree options guacamole and corn chips, trio of Dips, Jackfruit empanada and Butternut Squash Taco. All right. Tasty and made with love. AMAZING!!!! Really one of the best 3 hours of afternoon meals I've ever had. Friends who order all afternoon, a fantastic bar and a friendly staff were only done by the quality of the food. Worth a ride from everywhere nearby. COVID sensitive and compliant, you must also be.

I went here to a date with my engagement and found online there were several vegan options. However, the actual restaurant menu has not marked any vegan items, so keep the online menu handy. We had the Salsa Trio, Plantain Empanadas, Quinoa Croqueta and Cauliflower Al Pastor Tacos for appetizers. These were all really good and had unique flavors that you can not get in other restaurants. The dinner option however, Quinoa Chaufa, had no taste and did not come with the soy sauce dressing. I ended up with salsa, not worth $12.

We were visiting Lexington for a weekend and just walked in to this restaurant without knowing anything about it. They have a large sitting area upstairs with the full view of the restaurant below. Food presentation was like from InstagramLots of vegan options. Knowledgeable waiters if you need to further veganize something. I wish I would live closer, I would come often. You can get all Latin cuisine classics but vegan style. Full of flavor and color. Kudos to chef!

Worked with Brie for a private party and it was perfect! She helped with everything ! Even decorating! Food was beyond amazing and our server and bartender were so nice and helpful!! Highly recommend !!
