Although live locally never been here before. Great queuing and serving system, super friendly staff and proper distanced queues. And the coffee is great! Be back very soon! View all feedback.
What Paul J doesn't like about Browns Of Brockley:
I can only guess there is a significant Amish community in Brockley as WiFi in cafes is non existent. Interesting that in the window of Browns there is an appeal for staff with a QR code. View all feedback.
Friendly helpful staff , great atmosphere and the food was delicious. Plus it’s dog friendly . 10/10
Really enjoyable coffee, sitting out on the pedestrianised street in the sun. The food looked good too! And staff were most helpful.

The coffee here is SO good. The croissants and cakes are all clearly freshly made too so, so delicious. I come here multiple times a week because it is reliably great every time. It’s also spotlessly clean in and outside. The staff couldn’t be more friendly, either. From the moment you order your coffee to where you pick it up, they’re helpful and kind. I even recently asked about a Browns art print and they gave me one for free. Don’t miss the coffee van at Brockley Market on Saturdays too also great. I promise the queue is worth it! Can’t recommend more highly my favourite local!
I felt like a pretentious treat, so Browns of Brockley came to mind as a place to indulge in coffee and maybe a vegan sweet (Broca next door is 100 times better for vegans just saying I waited for a long long time to be paid any attention too, when I eventually was served the man behind the desk explained there was a kerfuffle going on outside that was the reason for the wait, he then continued to describe the goings on in peculiar manner, I wont repeat what was said...... but lets just say he blatantly associated knife crime to skin colour and uncomfortably told me he presumed a innocent member of the public was involved in the scuffle based on the fact he was black all in all a odd conversation which lead me to believe he was a little bit racist .... gross I know ... the coffe was ok but the service was terrible and you know what instead of the awkwardness of potentially racist members of staff and ponsey coffee snobs im going to go back to the better coffee shop next door , a cafe who are openly inclusive, support BLM and are queer friendly !! i cannot adivse you enough to skip this bougie over priced establishment and go to broca, a colourful and all round better place, : :
