The restaurant was once vibrant but saw a decline in customers due to management changes. However, under new management, it has been transformed into a top-quality English pub with friendly staff and excellent food at affordable prices. Although some patrons experienced rude service in the past, recent visits have been met with friendliness and top-notch customer service. Diners rave about the atmosphere, attentive staff, and delicious food. Despite some past issues with service speed, many customers are willing to return for the great food and pleasant dining experience. Overall, the restaurant has made a comeback and is now highly recommended.

I had a fantastic three-course lunch at The Shore on Mother's Day. The seafood starter was delicious, the roast lamb was perfectly cooked, and the desserts were amazing. In addition, I am gluten-free and they made sure to accommodate me by serving gluten-free Yorkshires, stuffing, and gravy. I want to thank the friendly and attentive staff for their excellent service. The price was also reasonable.
I recently enjoyed a fantastic roast dinner at the Shore Bar. The price was very reasonable at £8.95, especially compared to other pubs that charge £14-15. Although the decor is a bit old-fashioned and the carpet is worn, the quality of the roast was exceptional - one of the best I've had in a pub in years. The staff were friendly and I will definitely be returning soon.
Took my 96 year old dad out, he enjoyed every thing.staff were great. ill be back.dads faverite dish is hunters chicken, and he was not disapointed. said he will come on his own as everything was first class.
After a long 15 mile hike we managed to find the shore to watch the football. Despite the kitchen being shut for 30 mins, they managed to open it back up to help us out. The staff are all amazing, especially Aysha who helped us out and was overall an absolute legend. Would advise to anyone looking for amazing food and cheap pints.
