We booked here for lunch, on a Saturday afternoon. Service was superb and very friendly. The menu features some delicious pub classics, but also features a grazing menu of small plates and an enticing smash burger menu something very different. As a group we ordered a selection of dishes from the main menu and the grazing menu and the food was excellent. The sliders, wings and tater tots from the grazing menu were pe... View all feedback.
What mrsmcghee78 doesn't like about The Rainbow Inn:
Terrible customer service, very rude believe me if looks could kill when you walk in...No smiles just glared straight through..Didn't even say thank you when paid for drinks how rude!this is the reason why pubs and hospitality businesses are going under all the time because companies let folk like this run these places.Would never return View all feedback.
I went to The Rainbow on Sunday, July 16th to celebrate my mum's 80th birthday with a group of 12 people. We were welcomed by the friendly and polite staff. We all opted for the carvery and were impressed by the excellent selection of vegetables. Everyone enjoyed the service and food. I highly recommend this place for a visit, as we had a great afternoon and will definitely be returning.
I went to this charming family-owned pub for lunch and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The pub food was of great quality and I will definitely be returning soon.
I recently visited this charming pub located just outside of Lewes while staying with my family. The spacious garden offered beautiful views of the South Downs, and the service was exceptional. The atmosphere felt like a true family-run establishment, a rarity these days. The owner's son, who also serves as the landlord, took the time to explain the menu and share some interesting information about the area. We will definitely be returning to this pub on our next trip to the area.

Amazing food so much better than a standard carvery. Everything home cooked (cauliflower cheese was next level)……..
