We had a lovely experience being served by Amelia and Jack after a scenic walk through the South Downs Way. The pork belly and vegan wellington were great value for money, with large portion sizes that didn’t scrimp on flavour. The session IPA was a great finish to an incredible meal. Will be coming back on our next visit. Thank You. View all feedback.
What Morglo doesn't like about The Juggs:
First visit for a birthday lunch and sat inside. Found staff to be welcoming and service good, despite it being very busy. Wanted the focaccia bread with oil dip to enjoy with a drink to start, was told it was still in the oven and a half hour wait -at 1.00 pm this surprised me, maybe cooking for evening meals only??? Came here with my parents for just a pit stop for a few soft drinks, ended up having a really nice lunch. Beer battered fish and chips, Bhaji foccacia and 3 drinks came to 30 quid, great value. The food was lovely, looked spot on when it came out and tasted great. Some good flavours in the Bhaji! Would come again! Update: Still amazing food!
Stopped for lunch here with a friend on a Wednesday lunchtime to find The Juggs was surprisingly busy. We were the first to sit outside in the sunshine but within a few minutes others followed our example. Going inside to the bar the atmosphere was friendly and buzzing. The food was good and despite the number of other customers service was also prompt and efficient. We would happily visit here again.
Fantastic service friendly staff, Lovely food, Sat around the back room, Shame the garden did not look better, Full weeds no flowers
Excellent food and great service, but not happy being charged a service charge of 10%.without being informed.
Very friendly staff, great food, definitely would recommend a visit to this lovely pub.
