I recently had the opportunity to try the delicious beer and wine selection at this charming pub in a one-of-a-kind location. What Metho5 doesn't like about Steamworks:
Lovel venu disappointing selection of beer. First time I went I had a nice pint of bitter although it was much too cold. Been back several times and they did't have any bitter of any kind on tap or in bottles and the bartender didn't seem to understand what I was asking for as I was directed to the stout. Rapid service. Lovely little pub that I assume was a train station waiting room previously. And the pint of IPA I had... wow. Delicious.
Staff were alright but the clientele in the pub were quite prickly and went out of their way to make me feel unwelcome so unfortunately we didn’t stay long. We had wanted to have a coffee while waiting for our train but just had a snack to take away instead
I had a great experience at a charming pub near Seaford station. Although a bit small, the cozy atmosphere made it feel intimate. The lady behind the bar was friendly and I was able to enjoy a pint before catching my train.
Great pub...just like going back in time...fabulous selection of beer ales larger etc etc....lovely friendly staff and great ambience a breath of fresh air these days like finding the real genuine pot of gold for sure well done everyone involved don't change a thing! Friendly staff and comfortable surroundings. Didn't eat so couldn't comment on that
