My parents and I decided last minute to go out for fish and chips instead of ordering takeout. It was a great decision! The haddock and chips with peas and tartare sauce were a huge portion and perfectly cooked. The barman was lovely, and the atmosphere in the pub was great with friendly locals. I can't wait to return! Thank you.

I recently dined at The Flying Fish for the first time and was greatly impressed by the pleasant service from the lovely server and the welcoming ambiance of the pub. The food was outstanding and I definitely plan on returning in the future.

While staying in Seaford for a week, we discovered the Flying Fish in Denton. What a fantastic pub! Not only did we receive great service, but our dog was also pampered. We dined there five evenings in a row and the food was the best in the area. The Sunday Roast was superb, the Chicken Katsu Curry was wonderful (we had it two nights in a row), the Pie of the Day was lovely, and the Fish Pie was excellent. We indulged in a different Crumble every night as well. We highly recommend this place for its friendly staff, charming locals, and top-notch food.

Booked in advanced for a Tuesday at 5 pm to take my 85y old mum out for her birthday. Unfortunately it was not a good experience. The food was decent when we eventually got it. It took over 1.5 hours for the mains to come out and that was after us asking where they were 4 times and the last time we said that we 'll be leaving in 10 if they don 't come out. There was only 2 other couples in the pub and they both ordered after us but got 2 courses before us! Our 2 year old loved waiting around!!! The pub was lovely inside, the food was decent. They only had one person working for the whole pub I think. They then had the cheek to give me a bill and didn 't take the deposit off! I called the manager to explain so they had a chance to discuss it but he was not very interested and after explaining all the above he said I 'm not good at this you are best to speak to my wife, she isn 't here I left my name and number but now 5 days later I 've not had any contact. Disappointing

I booked a table for us to have something to eat after we’d been to Aglow at Paradise Park. The menu has a great choice but not so much it’s overwhelming. The pie of the day was chicken, bacon and tarragon so three of us went for that and the fourth person went for fish pie. It’s not super fast service but it’s all homemade food so I would t expect that. Definitely no pre made microwaved food here! The food was absolutely delicious. The pub were also great with my nut allergy but with the food being homemade they know exactly what’s in it. I will definitely be returning because there are so many other things on the menu that I want to try!
