Bill's Restaurant Bar Lewes

Macaroni cheese was baked. very dry, but edible. brot, that came with it was not very nice. only a small piece of toast without taste. fish dish was good. will not be reordered

We arrived and were greeted, shown to our table almost immediately, and given a menu each. Orders were taken with a few variation requests and our server dealt with our requirements easily. Drinks were served and our food came soon after and was beautifully presented and delicious. We had an enjoyable experience at Bills and would recommend it to all our friends. We have become regular visitors.

Post lockdown this seems to have lost some of its standards. The staff whilst polite, was less attentive, failed to advise that breakfast had ended at and that there are no small bottles of sparkling water. The chilli squid albeit delicious and the chargrilled chicken seemed to be of the pre-packed variety. Dressings and salad accompaniments had been forgotten and had to be requested. Deeply disappointed as prior to COVID this was always my GoTo. Sadly it won't be anymore.

Good food very good staff. Very nice environment, will definitely go again.

A nice venue for a meal. Staff very efficient despite being fairly busy. Food good although my wife’s chicken burger was a bit dry uninspiring- I actually tasted it. It wouid have been good to have a side salad or coleslaw with the burgers (included in the already high price) ti add some crispy freshness to the meal. My own Bills burger which was good who’s gave benefitted to. Also what about relish rather than the usual sauces?
