a place in a shopping center with a limited flair and many guests passing. possibility to sit inside and outside. good for any type of food or snack or coffee or just an ice cream. Very well comprehensible dishes with original Italian food, fresh and very tasty. I have pasta and pizza and salad and mixed antipasti always a pleasure! the price-performance ratio is hard to beat here! View all feedback.
What Heiko Schrader doesn't like about Casa Ducale:
we visited casa ducale for a dinner with friends. the place is very busy, even the outside seats despite the winter temperature. most of us had pasta, minen (arrabiata) was quite ok, the noodles were a bit underboiled for al dente, and the sauce was ok,...no more I counted 4 olives and so much cater. friendly service and fair prices as for what is offered. I was making a whirlwind lunchtime tour of the shops in the Luminaden in Leverkusen recently and felt peckish. Just outside the large Sparkasse bank on the upper floor you can easily find the Casa Ducale. It is usually busy with many people having coffee,...ice cream or light snacks. I found a table outside (under the glass roof still) and was really surprised how quickly I was served. I ordered a salami pizza and an apple juice/water combination (Apfelschorle). The pizza came quickly and was OK to be honest I was expecting some real, genuine Italian salami and what came was a nondescript and tasteless salami the sort you would find in the cheap section of a discount supermarket. The bill came quickly I paid Euro plus tip which was reasonable in my opinion. In general this place is geared up for quick, friendly service with a menu which is extensive enough to meet most immediate needs when thirsty and/or hungry whilst shopping in the town centre.
