However, on arrival we were given a glass of Prosecco as we sat down (which we were later charged for even though we hadn’t ordered it). Then we ordered the catch of the day which, even though it was delicious, the price at the end was way too steep. And we were never told the weight of it. Then when we were asked what we would like for dessert we ordered 2 grappa, the waiter responded by saying “typical” and walking away. It was really uncalled for and not delivered with humour, just distain, which left a really bad taste in our mouths. I 100% wouldn’t eat here again.

We had fresh caught, baked Branzino with potatoes and olives... the waiter actually brought out a platter showing the types of dish caught that day. The appetizer was Runa tartar with small pieces of pineapple; a surprisingly good combination. The meal was simple, but refined and delicious. Very extensive wine selection; we even had a small Prosecco when we sat down. As the name suggests, it's an intimate experience. Well worth a visit.

The wine was great and GM knows about the wines and their producers. The food was outstanding! Absolutely recommended! We had antipasti, primo and dolci with wine, water, digestive and espresso. The ambience is relaxed and romantic as it is somewhat secluded. (Insider tip for dessert is definitely the tiramisù! Saluti to Marco and Nina di Zurigo!
