However, I was a bit disappointed when the waiter had to consult two colleagues to determine which chili was vegan and which contained meat. Additionally, the spiciest salsa was laden with cheese, forcing me to settle for the medium heat option. Unfortunately, there were no vegan alternatives to cheese and sour cream, which was disappointing. When I took my tacos to go, they became soggy within a short walk and I had to eat them with a fork. However, this may not be an issue when dining in at the restaurant, so I cannot fault Donki for this.

I recommend asking for sauce from a sep... read more The hot sauce and chipotle sauces sometimes have bits of cheese in them because they are stored close to the cheese tin. I recommend asking for sauce from a separate sauce tin in the fridge below the counter to avoid any cheese contamination. I appreciate the friendly service and the effort the restaurant is making for vegans. They now even cover their hot sauce to prevent cheese from falling into it, which is a thoughtful touch. Additionally, they now offer vegan chicken options, but remember to ask for all burritos without cheese and sour cream to make them vegan. Unfortunately, they do not have vegan quesadillas.
