Such an enjoyable evening in every respect the best meal I have enjoyed in Belgium. A beautiful, peaceful space that allows the exceptional presentation and flavour of the food to shine. The matched wines paired perfectly, and were pleasingly available in smaller volume pours. The service really made the evening special so warm, knowledgeable, personable and attentive. Leuven is fortunate to have such a superb dining establishment. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €100+
My wife and I come here to celebrate her new job. We try the weekly menu, which is innovative and beautifully presented, blending European/Asian (esp. Japanese) elements, techniques and flavors. Starters are well seasoned, truly appetizing. The sweetbread is perfectly cooked, rich but well-balanced by the sauces. The pigeon is very tender and tasty, well paired with maitake and coffee beurre rouge. The dessert and pastries are delightful and make us feel very pampered. Btw, we love the sparkling red wine and the peppery, berry-forward red wine. The service is very warm and professional. We will definitely revisit EED in the future. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
A cozy and welcoming setting, a sparkling and motivated team, dishes are a wonder, fabulous non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, breathtaking creativity, a taste discovery. A huge thank you to this young star chef and his superb team for offering us such a moment of discovery and sharing their passion with this beautiful enthusiasm.
(Translated by Google) We've had a great experience here. EED goes beyond the standard rate with more experimental and superb combinations of textures and flavors that you usually don't expect. Some wines for matching seemed a little weak in my opinion, and one of the servers was a little too impatient to get rid of our table after the end of our courses. But overall, I enjoyed and hope to come back one day. Had a really lovely experience here. EED goes beyond the standard fare with more experimental and superb combinations of textures and flavors that you'd typically not expect. Some wines for the pairing felt a bit weak in my view, and one of the waiters were a bit too eager in clearing our table after we finished our races. But overall enjoyed it and will hope to be back again sometime.
