What Pfftou doesn't like about Altels:
With my hiking partner, we were looking for a spot for a quick lunch at 2:00PM, and decided to drop by here as it was close to the cable car. We were treated dreadfully by the person who owns/manages the place. My partner is of Asian origin, and when she asked if the restaurant was open, the owner shouted at us by saying “of course it’s open? Can’t you read?”. The last real village pub in Leukerbad! No tourist trappings, just a homely restaurant with cheese specialties, good wine and a charming and funny host couple!
