We booked a meal for 5pm. We arrived before 5pm. We are seated with my son his wife and grandchildren, one of whom is autistic. About 35 minutes after we were told there had been a mix up with our food order resulting in it being delayed. The kids were settled at this point so we said that was OK. Many other orders were delivered to guests who had arrived much later and I asked what was happening. The waitress didn't give answers, she just said sorry and ran off. When she passed I tried to get her attention and she just said sorry again. I told her it was ridiculous and that it was beyond being sorry and that we had now waited an hour for our order to be delivered she ran off and the manager appeared with a raised voice shouting that it had not been an hour. At this point my grandson became inconsolable and was so distressed we had to leave the restaurant. He still hadn't calmed down an hour later as he couldn't process why he wasn't getting his meal. My son and husband went back in to speak to the manager who was completely disinterested and unapologetic about the whole incident. We used to go there because it was convenient, but will not frequent there again.

Beautiful site and plenty to visit st andrews and cupar around 15 minutes away. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
