Hadn't reserved, but from the start, very friendly and managed to squeeze us in on a nice quiet table which was also great for our dog, Olive. Went for the fixed menu (you do get a choice) and both of us couldn't fault it. Excellent food and service and the restaurant itself is in a lovely setting and clean and modern. We will go back and would definitely recommend.
We eat there twice during our stay in Leucate. The setting is fantastic and the service is friendly and professional. The food is not too expensive and the wine is great. If you like to eat like the French this is the place. The menu is only in French but the waitress can translate it for you.
Unlike several other reviews state, we found the staff very welcoming (perhaps they terminated some people).. The food was delectable, despite the sauce with the lobster being slightly insipid. Overall quite a good experience.
Le 35 bis is a wonderful restaurant. The mid-day menu at 20 euro for 3 courses and a glass of wine is excellent value for food of this quality. But be warned, you have to make a reservation or you won't get a table, this restaurant is very popular. The food is beautifully cooked and presented. There was a choice of 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 desserts, the filet of pork in cep sauce was sublime! The waiter was excellent, friendly but professional, very attentive to everyone's needs even though it was extremely busy as it was the last day before lockdown so a lot of people had decided to eat here. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this restaurant.
We had dinner here last night. The setting is fantastic, situated in the old village of Leucate, surrounded by traditional French houses with shutters in a narrow street. The food and service were both excellent. I had the the scallops and steak. This was definitely our best meal out during our stay. We will return when we are next out in September..
