Plum is an upscale independent restaurant in Lethbridge. It is small (10-12 tables) and a bit edgy (the art). I 've been coming here for 4 years now. The food here is the best in town, comparable to the better places I 've eaten in Europe. For example this is the only place south of Calgary you can (or should) get steak tartare (raw) with quail egg. I 'm also a fan of the rack of lamb and occasional game dish. Steaks aren 't my thing, but they are reported to be good. The menu changes weekly. The staff is really great. Although they call themselves a wine bar there is not a huge selection but they are unique (not the big names the chains carry). They are really bringing back mixed drinks with some incredible cocktails.

Possibly the best restaurant in Lethbridge. With an ever changing menu, the chef at plum knows how to do their job with care, passion, and finesse- the food is REAL good! I've never had a bad meal here ever. The staff at plum are professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I like the small, romantic and intimate vibe. I have nothing bad to say about Plum. Go- it's worth your time, calories, and money!

My fiancé and I received gift certificates to Plum a year ago and have been waiting for a menu item that caught our eye. Finally, we found something delicious tonight. We started with the Rainbow Trout pâté (4/5) served on Toasted Bread with a side of sweet relish and roasted nuts that created a nice flavor combination. The Creamy pear and celery root soup (4.5/5) was flavorful and covered all parts of the tongue. For our mains, my fiancée enjoyed the unique Crepe vegetarian tacos while I had the Linguini with Shrimp (3.5/5) which was a bit spicier with a strong pepper taste. The Four Course Dinner Special included dessert, and my fiancée chose the Ginger Cake, although the Lemon Granita turned out to be a delicious surprise.

I have been here twice now, once for dinner and once for lunch. Both times were amazing. The cheese plate app is a must. The menu changes often so you can try new things. I had the chef's choice both times and was very impressed. Good portion sizes, my waiter was fantastic both times, cocktails were great. I hope to go any time I am in the area. I love it.

Had a birthday dinner here. The service was very good. Our female server was attentive, knowledgeable and had a great personality. We spent all evening and we never had any lapses in the great service. Beef carpaccio was perfect. We also enjoyed the duck crepe appetizer. Prawns were juicy in the entrée. Duck special was tasty. We will definitely go back. I knocked a star off because the pricing is a tad higher than it needs to be.
