We were seated at a table a... read more We'd eaten here a few months back and the food was pretty good, so i decided to take family members when they came to visit in June. We were seated at a table and first thing our eyes were drawn to was the carpet. This carpet is nasty to start with (new owners didn't replace it) but the food debris just made it worse. Who would sit someone at a table with that much **** on the floor. So now the whole experience was not good. As we looked around, everything in the place started to look run down and dirty. This in turn made a person's appetite diminish. Not one of us had more than one small plate of food. So the buffet price was ridiculously high for what we ate. Too bad because there is not one good Chinese food restaurant on the South end of Lethbridge near Costco. We have anything and everything over here, just no good Chinese. Closest thing would be out on 43 Street.

We went to the China Jade for a staff appreciation party, they were so accommodating and the food was amazing! They made sure the buffet was always fully stocked with what we needed for our large group, and the dessert options were fantastic. We will definitely visit again in the future.
