We enjoyed a lovely dinner at the restaurant it is open to people not staying in the hotel but best to reserve. Great setting and cosy atmosphere in the restaurant. Virtually all the food is vegan and a buffet to make it easier with a good choice of food. Everything is bio so even better!
My boyfriend and I stayed there for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. It‘s just a beautiful place. It was the first vegetarian and organic hotel in Switzerland and openend about 35 years ago, but it‘s not outdated at all, the rooms are nice and clean, we had a standard double room, they also offer suites. The food is great, at dinner, 99% of the food was vegan when we visited. It‘s a 5-course menu of which some of the courses are served, some are buffet. At breakfast, they serve cow milk, butter and co but there are vegan alternatives for everything and also vegan porridge and home made bread. The garden with the natural pool is beautiful, you can watch salamanders and other water animals, dragonflies, etc, I could have spent hours just watching. All in all it‘s just the perfect place for a get away, to slow down and relax and enjoy some great vegan food.
The location is wonderful, the owners are very friendly and the house is beautiful. They cater for vegans but you should let them know in advance. Interesting excursions nearby.
