Le Labrador - Les Gets

Not convinced by exceptional cuisine as announced

We come back from 5 days of skiing in the train station of the hotel le labrador. very beautiful discovery for us of the resort (very authentic and not concrete) as well as the ski area. the hotel was the best mixing a strong authenticity; No doubt we're in the mountains! but with a contemporary modernism with the exhibition of works in the well-deserved chalet and services: shuttle, all electric, available to deposit us on the slopes. absolute luxury knowing that trails are less than 5 minutes walk! a spa in the hotel offering relaxing jaccuzy, pool large enough for a hotel, steam room, sauna. the hotel owner even offered us access to his spa located in the city centre, with more than 1000m2 of surface area for a unique and very high-end experience. Unbelievable! the new direction was really at our service and eager to bring us a successful experience. improvement axes remain and are necessary to improve the establishment: the bathrooms and toilets are of an ancient time. but I understood that work began from spring to modernize everything! They're already late to come back here!

Disappointed with the hotel, I expected better for a “4 star” No restaurant or bar in the evening because “out of season”, the rooms are dated, no mini bar either… The positive points are the swimming pool but you don't have to be cold, and the breakfast is really generous. I wouldn't go back there.

Excellente expérience. Tout est plus que parfait. Le cadre est magnifique et agencé avec beaucoup de goût, le mélange de l'ancien et du moderne donne du cachet dans un style vintage très raffiné. Les chambres sont très bien équipées, les produits proposés (notamment dans la SDB) sont d'excellente qualité. Le linge de toilette est très doux et sent extrêmement bon. L'ensemble du personnel est souriant, professionnel, disponible, serviable et dynamique. L'espace détente est idéal après une journée de rando. Le centre du village est très proche. Notre petit chien a été très bien accueilli tout au long du séjour. La formule demi-pension est très appréciable. Les produits du petit déjeuner sont de très bonne qualité. La carte pour les repas du soir est d'excellente qualité, elle permet un choix de plats traditionnels mais surtout de plats dignes d'un semi-gastronomique. Hôtel très conseillé.
