In the autumn the 'chasse' is superb, and at all times of the year there is a wide range of classic Swiss bistro fare to suit everyone. Filets de perche, steak (including 'sur ardoise' which is a great way to eat steak if you've never tried it), cold roast beef with tartare sauce, omelettes and salads. I haven't tried the pizza but it looked amazing, and is available to take away. There is a pleasant terrace in the summer, and two dining rooms inside.Service is very friendly and the food is superb. The chef obviously takes great pride in his work. He will usually come out and shake hands with the customers when the service is over.it's not cheap, but the prices are entirely reasonable for Switzerland, and portions are generous. I wanted to try the homemade tiramisu but had no room left...It's an easy 37-minute ride on the LEB from the centre of Lausanne, which makes it a great destination for Sunday lunch. We'll definitely be back, and the sooner the better.
