We arrived and already had the table booked as we had asked, we treated with kindness and speed, fast service, delicious food, restaurant with a very nice decoration and atmosphere, motivated waiters we will all come back more times.

There is a terrace at the side where yo... read more I had seen mixed reviews but thought I’d give it a go as it was close to our hotel and I understood it was dog friendly. There is a terrace at the side where you are seated if you want to smoke or if you have your pet with you, so that is where we went. It was late October and the night was quite chilly and although a few patrons gave up and went to sit inside we couldn’t and there was no sign of the patio heaters being put on. We are from the north of Scotland though so, we managed. The food was fair and typical of a student oriented burger bar. The chips were great, the chicken strip starters with sauce were likewise pretty tasty and although I enjoyed my burger, I have had better. I was asked how I like it cooked and I wanted it to be medium, but notwithstanding my preference there was no pink meat and a distinct lack of juice coming from the burger. Now this is a matter of individual taste, I like my burger to be coarse, loose and juicy, this was finely minced and tightly packed. It tasted fine, it was good quality meat but not the way I prefer. Beer and wine were good and affordable, so no real complaints.

Nice hamburger place, I got the veggie one, good. Great salad: spinach, quinoa, bean sprouts and asparagus. Good location by the riverside.
