I was quite disappointed with my recent visit to this restaurant. I've been here many times before, enjoying the convenience of being a local and being able to shop while waiting for my order. The fish has usually been great, but today it fell short. I'm not sure if there are new owners, but things seemed different. I ordered Whiting and Flake, and when I picked up my order, the Whiting portion was surprisingly small, almost like a child's serving, while the Flake was subpar. For $22.22, I expected much better quality. Additionally, there were three or four flies buzzing around the cash register, and the staff didn’t seem to mind them at all. I'll give them another chance next week, but today’s experience was definitely disappointing.
Fish and chips brought for a family of 6 for our good Friday lunch was nothing to brag about. The flake didn't taste anything like flake and it had been overcooked and was dry. Potato cakes weren't very nice and the chips cold and undercooked. I would not recommend this place to anyone wanting a meal of fish and chips . The birds had a great feed!! Service: Take out

Me and my friend ride down to catch It's a great place to just sit down and have some fish-and-chips. I always feel safe and welcome there. And the staff is amazing.
