The service was fast and the staff was fri... read more I had a fantastic dining experience at the White House Hotel. The restaurant, located next to the hotel, is charming. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable. I ordered the scotch fillet, which was cooked perfectly. My friend had the parmi, which was huge. The bar offers a wide selection of beers and ciders. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I will definitely be back.

Steak overflowing the toasted white bun, lots of bacon and a runny egg, just enough tomato and lettuce to add a bit of texture, and lots of tomato sauce. Came with chips so crisp...they snapped. It was MAGNIFICENT. Don't usually drink at lunch, but had a stubby of cider with it and it was perfect. Literally the best steakburger I've had in years. Well done.

The Whitehouse offers a good wholesome and healthy meal at a better value than what you would find in the city. Don't let the exterior décor deter you, as it is part of the restaurant's history. The staff mainly consists of backpackers, but they tend to stay longer than in other towns I visit for work. The service provided by the staff is usually excellent, and the quality of the food has consistently been top-notch over the years.

What a shame so we had a few beers and left what seemed a grand old Pub. Service...was good and beers cold .
