Kira, the Ma... read more Our son and and his new wife enjoyed their wedding weekend in Leonardtown, in large part due to gatherings with dear friends and family at The Rex! Kira, the Manager, was awesome to work with and made sure that all went well. I highly recommend it as afun place with great service!

I went to the dinner for breakfast. I told the staff I just had a heart attack and I would like egg whites for my breakfast. After waiting 45 mins for our food... read more I went to the dinner for breakfast. I told the staff I just had a heart attack and I would like egg whites for my breakfast. After waiting 45 mins for our food (This would be my first real meal in 3 days) our food came and they did not make mine withegg whites. I told the person who brought the food. 10 mins later our server came by and noticed nothing in front of me. Shethen brought back the same plate (sitting for 10 mins) back and said they are out of egg whites and placed the food in front ofme. They had no desire to make egg whites using the eggs they had. I did not get to eat anything.

The food was good, the old bay wings could have been cooked a little less, but the onion rings and reuben were superb. The Service: Please go see Hannah, her tableside can not be outdone. She wasattentive, quick and very knowledgeable. Her recommendations were so on point????. We will definitely be back.

The homemade potato chips were also worth the trip. But they don?t have them anymore. Sad. Service has been difficult. I?ll sitand wait for my dairy free entree (burger) long after everyone else has theirs. Waiting is typical for special orders but wheneveryone is almost done eating? not clean. Flies are annoying. Bathrooms are not clean- remind me of a college bar. Sad. It wassuch a great place. I do enjoy the live music they have had some great solo and band playing there this year 2022
