We went to eat three people, besides the menu of the day, they offered us potatoes with octopus. One of us asked them and served him what was left, with a few potato and the octopus imagined. I think that when there is no need to serve a dish as it is due it should not be offered. The cachopo was very made, the steak looked like a shoe's sole. the raviolis, golden and the natillas were very good.

When the sites are architecturally wonderful, the kitchen is very good and the excellent service, the moment is of those who remain forever. Carlos, the person who attended us at dinner, put the guide to a set of very good sensations we had. His knowledge of wine (of wines, because he spoke with passion of those of our land, cherry, with extraordinary knowledge) of the product of the area and the love for things well done is all that can be asked for the moment to be special.

We ate here on a Sunday evening after many families had celebrated First Holy Communion at lunchtime. We had an excellent meal with faggots, delicious shoulder of baby lamb, excellent turbot and suckling pig with a very good bottle of Leon wine followed by almond cake and mille feuille. The meal was enhanced by the very pleasant waiter who served us, eager to please and inform. Especially since he had only started 3 weeks ago!

We had been disappointed with what was on offer in Barrio húmedo and barrio romantico so decided to head back and have dinner at the hotel. What a surprise ! If you want to visit this place without booking a room, then this restaurant is the way to go! Our food was superb, sangria was fine and we got to taste the local Tempranillo as well. Our gentleman-waiter was impeccable. All of this at a lower price than anything we saw in León !

We chanced upon this restaurant whilst looking for somewhere to have lunch in León. The set menu was not very prominently displayed, but we thought we'd give it a go. It was a charming setting, a bit on the quiet side but the three course set menu was excellent and the staff were charming. I had the most delicious mushroom soup I've ever had, we had beautifully cooked oven baked fish with vegetables for main course, followed by fabulous hot chocolate fondant pudding quite a find in Spain... Wine and water and bread were included they left the wine bottle on our table so we sneakily had a bit more than a glass. All for €18 a head. A surprisingly pleasant experience.
