Good food and perfect service We’ve had the cowboy burger, risotto and a pizza everything tasted excellent
The staff are friendly, if you have to wait for a table which is rare you can have a drink at the bar and you get pizza tapas which are lovely , the meal is normally very good but we go go here often
Big portions, very nice staff and good ambient. We had the lasanha, pizza de chouriço, garlic and malaguetas, spagetti bolonhesa and pork and everything was really good.
Why oh why? Well there are a plethora of reasons for not choosing to dine here and one perhaps that will persuade you to do so. First the one that may persuade you. If you are happy being served by a waiter who seems to be on speed and are delighted by getting large portions then this may be your Shangri-La. Go and enjoy. I am one who enjoys large portions, but also edible ones. I love food and have a reasonable idea how it should be prepared and served. The speed at whichever we were served was impressive, but sadly in a negative manner. We were first served a salad which consisted largely of shredded carrot obscuring a bowl of iceberg lettuce dotted with pickled onions, gherkins and strange square slices of processed ham. On top was half a boiled egg divided into four sections. It was not unattractive except to those who carrot is not their absolute favourite salad ingredient. Basically a boring salad with some pretty powerful undertones. Whilst I eat extremely quickly (boarding school habits) I was unable to outrun our speed assisted waiter who managed to bring the main courses when we had only managed to eat around half of the salad. On mentioning this to him, he just shrugged his shoulders as if to say what do you want me to do about it? This was not due to a language barrier as we are both fluent in Spanish and quite capable of making ourselves understood. The meals which we were served, a calzone and a lasagne, were both over cooked to the point of being burnt. One can only imagine how fast we would have been served if we had been brought them at their optimum; perhaps ahead of the salad! Sadly over-cooking was not the only downside to our selection. The person responsible for the distribution of the pizza ingredients prior to folding the calzone (not meriting the term chef) should be taught that both the cheese and the other delicacies should be evenly spread and not clumped into two distinct areas so that the possibility of cutting a slice with a cross section of the flavours one would expect is within the normal person's reach and anticipation and not just restricted to those who can stuff a quarter of a pizza in their mouth in one go. I can, by the way, but the sight is not pretty and should certainly be reserved for home dining only. Turning to the lasagne. Perhaps we made a mistake asking which of the lasagnes could be recommended. The recommendation received was the verde, an innocuous suggestion perhaps and supported by the fact it has more béchamel sauce. The béchamel sauce was not quite so innocuous; the flavour was fine, but the consistency was of blancmange or a poorly mixed wallpaper paste with some dubious undertones of flour. The portion was generous and had it not been burnt on top and texturally challenged it might have been ok. As it was, it wasn't! I would like to comment on the desert, but as we did not dare test anything so rash we shall leave it to the reader's imagination. On the table next to us they did order an ice lolly. Possibly from previous experience! We did read the reviews on trip advisor before going and can only apologise to those who had taken the time to warn us, a warning we really should have headed. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but those who consider this to be a good quality Italian restaurant are, in my opinion, in need of experiencing life outside of León. I'm sure there must be worse Italian restaurants in the world, but thus far I have been fortunate enough not to have experienced one.
Such a cozy and good quality pizzeria. old and traditional style, they do not change and what makes them feel at a familiar place. the ingredients of pizzas are good and more than enough for the price they have; also they offer some typical Italian dishes that are also delicious and good. the service is great and the owner is really nice.
