There were lots of locals in the small middle dining room plus a large tour group in the banquet room next to our area. Food was good, service fast and prices reasonable. Not particularly memorable but just fine for what we wanted.

We were shown to a table in the main dining area.....staff were friendly and helpful. My wife's first course was macaroni cheese with tomatoes. I chose the rib of beef with potatoes...the portion was huge. We both chose grilled trout as the second main course....beautifully cooked....succulent. The full bottle of rose wine was good, and we just managed a dessert.....vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce and creme caramel Service was rapid. This was one of the best value meals that we had in Northern Spain.

Wine (2 full bottles for 4 of us), water and bread were included. The food was plentiful and good. From the outside it appears to be only a bar, but a good size restaurant is just past the bar.

We had the fixed price menu which was varied and almost unbelievably good value at 11 Euros each. The atmosphere was traditional and the service speedy and excellent without making you feel rushed. The Dining room was full this is a popular place so we had a table in the bar area but it was not noisy, rather cosy.
