we have booked our table at the arrival, we were informed that the kitchen was going a little after, as there are many customers, so there will be about an hour waiting for the food. an hour passed, the waitress updates us that it will be another minute or so. we finally got our food served, but the steak was much over cooked, as we asked for medium-sized, the steak salad also cooked over to eat the point that it was... My family and I went to the Fishermen's Arms for Sunday lunch and we were not let down. We were promptly seated and our drink orders were taken. The carvery was exceptional, with 4 meat options and a variety of vegetables to choose from, along with all the traditional Sunday dinner accompaniments. Debbie's dessert selection was fantastic, absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and the meal was great value for money. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as a wonderful place to dine.
The staff were incredibly attentive despite being very busy, and the food was exceptional even with my dietary restrictions. They accommodated perfectly.
We made a reservation for 7:30pm but upon arrival, we were told that the kitchen was running behind schedule due to a high number of customers. We were informed that we would have to wait about an hour for our food. After an hour had passed, our waitress told us it would be another 30-45 minutes. We finally received our food at 9pm, but unfortunately the steak was overcooked despite our request for medium rare. The steak salad was also overcooked, making it too tough to eat. Overall, our dining experience was a disappointment from start to finish.
Absolutely wow!! A lovely dining experience . Friendly Staff , wonderful food presented beautifully and good value . Nothing negative to say ! Thank you !
