we live before place and eat regularly because we love the music and the ambiente. the food was never the main thrust and we were disappointed by our meal before about one mo th. our desire to hear wanda houston, brought us back with friends. we all ordered burgers and enjoyed them. each order has been prepared for our specifications. cocktails and wein were delicious. we plan to return and hope that the menu will be... We keep coming back. The food is consistently delicious and they use locally sourced food and ingredients grown locally or in the garden behind the Inn. The inn keepers are warm and gracious. They have live music at night in a piano lounge. Great place to stay too!
The restaurant at Gateways is superb. Not only is the food excellent, but the service and attention to our dietary needs, was outstanding. Excellent entrees, salads, side dishes, and desserts. The next time we are in Lenox, this will be at the top of our list.
Birthday dinner before a Tanglewood concert. Food was delicious ranging from Beef ribs to Moroccan chicken. Thai Ginger carrot soup also yummy. Would come back again!
Service was slow and inattentive. Stuffed Portobello Mushroom was poor. Chicken Pot Pie had a fluffy top, but the bulk of the pie was mediocre.
Enjoy this experience. Beautiful environment, gracious host/owner and chef, currently training at the Culinary Institute of America. Loves the variety of choices for dinner. Excellent waiting service!
