Fumiyoshi Express - Lenoir

I called to place a takeout order, and I encountered rude service. The girl on the phone never confirmed that I had reached the correct location, and when I asked, I was abruptly cut off and told that they were sold out of everything—not just a few items, but everything. I've had issues with this place before, and this experience felt particularly unprofessional. I won't be giving them another chance.

Without a doubt, this is one of the best restaurants I've ever dined at. The meals are made to order, and the portion sizes are fantastic for the prices. This was my first visit, but it certainly won't be my last. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and I'm already looking forward to returning. Update: I still wholeheartedly support this opinion!

I really enjoy ordering from this restaurant. Every time I've been there, the service has been excellent. A special thanks to Reba, who even brought my drinks out to me! Thank you so much!

We had takeout. The place is old and run down. Really went for the sushi. Eel and salmon were unavailable. We got a California roll, crunchy roll and a tempura shrimp roll. The rice is not sushi rice. The sushi was squishy. The sushi was not good. Ordered 2 egg rolls. They didn't have much inside and were the size of spring rolls. Ordered scallop and shrimp and mixed vegetables. It was ok, but what they call fried rice barely touched the wok.

This place looks like a shack but the food is surprisingly good! I am not much on rice that is a little undercooked so I left 4 stars instead of 5, the meats and veggies more than made up for the rice and I would love to come back again soon.
