Today, we went for lunch a bit early at 11:30 AM to... read more We love visiting Berghaus Stoss when we are skiing at Lenk Betelberg. Note: It is a self-service restaurant. Today, we went for lunch a bit early at 11:30 AM to beat the crowd. I had the Spaghetti Bolognese; it was a generous portion, and while the spaghetti was a little soft, it was still good. The sauce had great character with nice, meaty flavors. We returned later for coffee and a Nussgipfel (hazelnut pastry), and then once more after skiing for a Kafi fertig —a traditional spiked coffee with apple schnapps. We really enjoy Berghaus Stoss for its simple yet charming atmosphere, and typical Swiss specialties, both in food and drink.
