After trying half a dozen pla... read more We just moved to the Kansas City area from New York City and have been looking all over town for a good Indian and Pakistani food. After trying half a dozen places, we were happy to stumble across Sohaila’s Kitchen. We met Sohaila and her son, sampled biryani, butter chicken, naan, samosas and more … and have now found our new go to place! The food was excellent, authentic, and as good as anything we ever encountered in New York. We will be back a lot!

I went last Friday during the Lenexa Market with music and we paid $30 for a margarita that it was supposed to have 3X more tequila. We split the drink with afriend and it was only watermelon water; we drank most of it and when I complained it didn't have tequila, the manager said Ishouldn't have drunk it and return to demand more tequila. I should have, but that doesn't justify her rudeness and badmanners. Maybe because I'm Mexican and not a white lady she treated me soooo poorly. Will never return :

We come to Lenexa Public Market probably every other week. We live in Olathe but it is worth the trip. Red Kitchen is amazing. We have had the breakfast burritos, absolutely recommend the chorizo if you want a kick. The carne asada and porkstreet tacos are to die for. My wife is a big guacamole fan, you know, even buys it at chipotle. Red Kitchen has cracked therecipe. It?s good all around. If you want to get it to go, I recommend the tamales. Again, so amazing. It?s a shame we can onlygive 5 stars.

If you are in the mood for some great comfort food that you will love to tell your friends about....this is the place to be!
