I absolutely love this location! The sandwiches always taste fresh, and the bread is incredibly soft. The staff here is amazing—so friendly and genuinely happy. As someone who works in outside sales, I often go out of my way to visit this spot, even passing by other locations to get here. I make it a point to stop by at least once a week, whether it's to grab something for myself or to pick up a catering order for my clients. This is definitely the best place to get a sandwich tray for catering!
I'm really fed up with unprofessional and disinterested individuals. Why is it so difficult to genuinely care about your work?
The restaurant has recently been remodeled, providing a nice and clean update. However, the layout of the service line feels a bit unusual as it has been reversed. The sandwiches are consistently well-made, and there are only short lines after the lunch rush.
I ordered a sandwich tray for my daughter's 30th birthday celebration. The celebration was going to be at a studio in Westport, but since my daughter lives in Lenexa, I chose this location to order from because it had the highest rating of the twolocations near my daughter. We had been running behind from setting up the studio for the party, and I was 45 minutes late fromthe time I scheduled my pick-up for. When I arrived they said that a frat-boy-looking white guy, driving a white suv-liketruck, had come in and said that he was picking up a sandwich tray order and gave my name. The gals mentioned that it was theonly sandwich tray order they had, so they didn't question it. I showed them my confirmation email, which confirmed I was atthe correct location. The gals were very nice about it and said they called their manager to see what they should do. Theychecked my ID, then went ahead and made me another sandwich tray (yet, with less meat than they used to come with, even thoughthey advertise there's more meat). Yet, this put me even more behind and my daughter had to finish setting up her own party byherself. Even though the gals were really nice and I tipped them an additional $20 in cash for quickly solving the problemwithout being mean or grumpy, I'm only giving one star. It's hard to say what really happened. Maybe someone working therealerted a friend that I hadn't picked up my tray yet. It was weird to hear that someone picked up the only sandwich tray, whichwas mine and said they were picking it up specifically for me, when I hadn't told anybody else I was ordering it. Mysuggestion is that stores request a pick-up person be provided when ordering, and that person or the original person orderingmust pick it up or the store calls the phone number on the order if someone else end up there to pick it up.
