First... read more We were passing through because we were returning from France to Galicia and Well I have to say that the food as such can be eaten but I have many buts... First I ordered Riojan style potatoes and they left a lot to be desired... the broth they have was literally water (transparent), 3 tiny pieces of chorizo (which is the main ingredient along with the potato) and a mega tasteless flavor... it reminded me totally like a hospital meal... very improvable... we have also ordered one of beans first and they were delicious but we have not understood why some are offered chillies (piparras they call them there) and others are not... when they are always served with beans . They have neither offered us nor brought them to us. Add that they do not honor Basque cuisine, I have eaten there a few times already and they always leave you the cauldron or the pot where it is served in case you want to repeat... here they take it without the option of being able to add a little more if you feel like it. For the second meatballs and they tasted good, the problem is that it is very bad to serve a dish where there are 5 meatballs (counted) with sauce and without any garnish... very poor... As for the dessert, some custard... well, I can't comment anything positive about it... without cinnamon and without even a cookie... and the taste, well, I repeat myself... like a hospital... tastier are the ones you buy in a supermarket, unfortunately We had to leave them halfway. Finally, they give you 2 pieces of bread (1 per person) and on top of it it is FRESHLY DEFROSTED which is very noticeable... I feel bad about posting this type of reviews because I see that people are quite happy with the restaurant and I have only been passing through but I like to tell my experience and I think that perhaps it may be that I was not very correct in choosing the dishes. on the menu but still the food left me a lot to be desired. I give the two stars to the staff, the man at the bar is very friendly and in general there is good treatment. The price is quite affordable but I advise you to raise the prices a little and increase the quality, the place is good and is well used.
