The issue of COVID-19 protocols not being followed raised concerns for some customers. Overall, the food was described as excellent, service was friendly and accommodating, and the Guinness was highly recommended. Despite some drawbacks, many customers expressed a desire to return to the restaurant on future trips to Ireland.
For our main dishes, we both opted for the duck in plum sauce, which was absolutely delightful. Despite struggling to finish the sticky toffee pudding and Belgian chocolate mousse desserts, we managed to complete them. We ended the meal with leisurely sipped coffees, finishing off the last of the wine. Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience in a lovely setting and would highly recommend it to anyone. Just be aware of the cost of the wine, as it can add up unexpectedly. Our total bill for two, including a pint of lager, came to €71 before tip. I would give this restaurant a perfect five-star rating, but I would advise caution when it comes to the price of the house wine – who knows how much the more expensive options cost!
We sometimes go to this restaurant for brunch or lunch in their outdoor covered seating area. It's a convenient spot to bring our toddler, baby, and dog and is located by the river on our walking route. Unfortunately, there's no similar option in town. Despite this, we have been disappointed with our experiences here. On weekend mornings, there is often broken glass from the night before in the outdoor area. It's surprising that the restaurant would open in such a state. We have had to ask the staff to clean it up multiple times, as they appear to be overwhelmed due to being short-staffed. Additionally, there are no smoking signs in the covered area, but ashtrays are left on the tables, leading to smoking despite the rules. Smokers are directed to the open section with a large screen, which is meant to be kid-friendly.
My friends and I went to this restaurant for a night out and had an amazing time. The food was excellent, the host was very friendly, and Aisha and Davi gave us outstanding service. They truly deserve more appreciation for their dedication and hard work.
My family and I had an amazing dining experience at the Steakhouse. The staff were very attentive and accommodated our gluten-free and nut-free dietary requirements. We enjoyed a delicious meal with a stunning view of the Liffey River.
From the moment we walked into the restaurant, we were impressed and our happiness only grew as we left. The atmosphere was excellent and the service from the staff was exceptional. And we can't forget about the incredible Guinness we savored - the finest we've ever had in Ireland. We will certainly be returning on our next trip to Ireland.
