There is a lot of neglect and mediocre food just around the corner, but you need to wait and wait, and then ask yourself where all waiting staff went! How disappointed we were. A party of 5 in Leipzig for once in a lifetime week, so we decided to do it in this highly valued, elegant looking restaurant. We sat for time for our reservation and waited slightly 15 minutes before we were visited. And it went downhill from there. Two guests ordered the famous turbot, a lamb, a carving and a beef stationerloin. 20 after the order, the waitress returned to announce that there was no turbot, period. It did not bring any menus or make alternative suggestions; the two guests had to literally guess on alternatives, while the waitress was out of print. Atrocious was a description. Some of the plates were good, but at this price point you can accept the empty glasses, empty staff and some plates that were mediocre not. Atrocious is apt.
