Anlässlich eines Leipzig-Besuches schlugen mein Bruder und seine Frau zum Treffen dieses Lokal vor. Es liegt nicht weit vom Stadtzentrum, ist auch mit der Straß... read more Anlässlich eines Leipzig-Besuches schlugen mein Bruder und seine Frau zum Treffen dieses Lokal vor. Es liegt nicht weit vom Stadtzentrum, ist auch mit der Straßenbahn gut zu erreichen und hat eine nette Einrichtung mit angenehmen abgeschotteten Ecken. Im Sommer ist sicher die Terrasse zu empfehlen. Der Service ist sehr gut und aufmerksam. Wir wählten alle ein Fischgericht (Saibling und Lachs). Alles war wohlschmeckend und die Portionen ausreichend groß und nett angerichtet. Der alkoholfreie Aperitif ersetzte die Vorspeise. Auch die Weinauswahl war gut und zufriedenstellend. 2x Nachtisch krönte den netten Abend. Alles in allem ein Grund wiederzukommen.

The ambience is a matter of taste, the average age of the guests is quite high. You can look forward to a greeting from the kitchen before choosing from a good selection of dishes. The food is solid and the service is OK. Nothing more and nothing less

We were able to book the restaurant... read more We held our Christmas party at Mein Leipzig this year. Both the pre-party organization and the day itself were very relaxed. We were able to book the restaurant exclusively outside of regular hours and had a diverse menu to choose from. The quality of the food was consistently excellent; all my colleagues agreed. Whether beef, poultry, fish, or vegetarian, everything looked fantastic. The portion sizes were also generous—not too much and not too little. We had very friendly and efficient service, and the ambiance is lovely. The wait was short because we had pre-ordered all our dishes. Due to its somewhat hidden location, it's a real insider tip, but perfectly accessible from the city harbor. There isn't one very large dining room, but rather several medium-sized rooms. This means that large groups can't sit at one large table. We were informed of this beforehand. However, our group of 20 was all able to sit in the same room. I think some of us will be returning to this restaurant for private events in the future!
