The... read more From a distance it looked good. But when we got closer, it was run down; the ashtray by the stairs was overflowing. The wooden steps were poorly maintained. The chairs at the table were broken. The leather was torn. The buffet food wasn't fresh, and the frozen glasses were smeared. The Corona beer was all gone. And finally, the quality of the food was terrible. We won't go there again. Normally, we were there for about 20 minutes and shouldn't have had to pay anything. The worst crap, has nothing to do with Mexico. Sad!!!

Tables can be booked online within a minute, and there's plenty of parking behind the building. I'll continue to visit regularly :

Considering the... read more To be honest: The restaurant didn't really impress me in terms of taste. A lot of the food tastes like it came out of a packet – like Maggi Fix. Considering the prices, that's a bit outrageous. The only saving grace: the ribs and the grilled meat were quite okay. But! The ambiance is really nice. Pure Mexican vibe! You immediately feel at home and could easily spend a few hours here. The staff was also super friendly and attentive, nothing to complain about. In conclusion: If you're just looking for a relaxed evening with drinks and pleasant conversation, Espitas Leipzig is definitely a good place. But if you're craving authentic Mexican food, you'll probably be better off elsewhere.
