One of the invaluable stalwart community hubs of the waterside and nomadic people on this stretch of the Grand Union canal. Reliably well-kept bitters; a good old-fashioned, casual, sawdusty basic comfort and warmth; gloriously dog-friendly; and with good folks on both sides of the bar. Wheelchair accessibility: The double door entrances on the side of the building facing the canal have wide and level access for wheelchair users. The venue has ground floor disabled toilets accessible with a radar key Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fish Chips, Full English Breakfast, Roast Beef, Burger and Chips, Sunday Roast Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot

I’ve lost the will to live sitting it this dire pub. The service is so slow we have been here two hours and dessert still hasn’t been served (we are only a table of 8 who pre ordered)and the pub is basically empty of customers (funnily enough) one of the serving staffs personal hygiene is poor to the point I hold my breath when they come over. Avoid like the plague unless you want bad food, smelly staff and extremely slow service. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
