The... read more I live in Leichhardt, and this coffee shop is fantastic. They serve large coffees, and their muffins have a delightful sweetness that I can't get enough of. The staff is incredibly friendly, and they've done an excellent job of maintaining good service and social atmosphere during these challenging times. Lastly, if you find a better hot cross bun in Sydney, I would be surprised. Their homemade offerings are top-notch and the best I've ever encountered. Please go and support them! Came here for a weekend breakfast and although it was early, they made a steady trade with many dunes and take the guests in this small bakery in the norton str... read more Came here for a weekend breakfast and although it was early, they made a steady trade with many dunes and take the guests in this small bakery in the norton street. the menu is a fairly simple affair with hearty elements listed on the table above the register. the sweet muffins can be selected from the clear cabinet. choose them and choose what they want, then their payment. if they don't eat with the usual number, they will get a toy instead! there are seats inside and outside. we have coffees that have a nice smooth taste. for our brekky we had the fancy pants bacon egg muffin. it had pancetta, 'frozen ei', Jarlsberg cheese, mayo and ingenious sauce (make a bit like bbq to me) and it is served in its choice of hearty muffin. we had plain and pumpkin. the taste was delicious and perfect for an early start. I was tried by the sweet muffins on the display and drawn by the banoffeee pie muffin. it had a caramel pine hutard. though beautiful, there was not so much of him in the muffin, as I would have liked, as it was muffin itself was a ted dry. the chic food with butternut crumb was beautiful at the top. savoury won over sweet today. never tried a muted muffin before that is what they are known for so when they are in the opposite, they should go.

They are so different to the traditional muffins and are twice cooked steamed then baked, resulting in a super moist texture with crispy edges. All the flavours arw delicious I love that some have a hidden surprise inside. Most of the muffins are sweet but there are several savoury muffins also which are all delicous. There is a small menu to order from and limited indoor seating. Staff are friendly and helpful. A must try and if not at the stall then get them at markets around Sydney!
